Itinerary of a traveller …

The spirit of journeys has always been a part of my life…

While still a young child, I was introduced to the endless possibilities of life through extensive road trips with my brother and sister. As our taste for the landscape grew, a thousand promises of adventure came within reach… 

Accordingly, my international degree in Finance and Management was earned in a European context with instruction taught in English, Spanish, and French. The subsequent lingual and cultural fluidity lent itself extraordinarily well to the next phase; a rapidly launched cross-European career as Consultant in Management Accounting Software. My duties required a thorough understanding of both the demanding technical conditions of the software’s application domains (Accounting, Sales, Purchases, Stocks), as well as the local conditions in the countries whose markets I was serving. The multi-ethnical developer teams under my responsibility often relied on me for prompt deliveries of translated technical documents. In addition, training and marketing groups were also closely tied to the translated chain of information. The accumulated experience from years of such diverse exposure in large corporate environments is the foundation for my translation services today. 

After eight years of many journeys and multiple European projects, I had the immense opportunity to work for a large American firm in Customer Relationship Management. This offered an exciting cross-Atlantic expanse to my career and a new story begun. I learned about a completely new range of software products and came to specialize in the field of the pre-sales. As part thereof, my communication skillsdeveloped further. This occurred thanks to the demand for highly precise technical terminology in combination with presenting concepts that were still quite unknown outside the USA.

Eventually it became natural to consider spreading my wings and venturing into the world of Independent Consulting. In 2004 I started my own business in order to offer expert Advisory Services in Organization and Human Relationship Management, as well as Translation of English and Spanish to French.

I am presently enjoying shared time between my homes in Northern California and Southern France from where I offer consultation in various projects involving voice-over, translation, training, and writing.

The journey that started as a child continuous equally adventurous to this day. Perhaps the traveller has accrued some wisdom along the road, and surely found reason to deepen in humility. Because the shared experiences with colleagues and friends are truly as magnificent and invaluable as the ever unfolding landscape is to the traveller’s eye. I would always welcome adding a thread to this golden weave should you wish for my translations.
